    Two (2) separate, short meaningful
    sentences are provided. Students are asked to translate them from English into
    Arabic.

    One short meaningful sentence is provided.
    Students are asked to translate it from Arabic into English.


    The translation question aims at testing
    the students’ awareness of the areas of conflict between the mother tongue and
    target language.
